Significant Weight Reduction
With a density of only approx. 2.68 g/cm³, the valve body weighs just 1/3 to 1/2.5 of a comparable ductile iron casting. This drastically reduces the load on the piping system and lowers labor intensity during installation.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
A dense natural oxide film forms on the surface, providing better resistance to freshwater, salt spray, and humid atmospheres compared to carbon steel or cast iron. Ideal for outdoor and water treatment applications.
Precision Casting & CNC Machining
The flow channel and sealing surfaces are finished with CNC machining to ensure a smooth bore and high mating accuracy. This minimizes flow resistance and guarantees perfect compatibility with EPDM, NBR, or PTFE valve seats.
Standardized Top Actuator Flange
Features a 4-bolt evenly distributed flange pattern that matches standard valve stems and actuators. This ensures precise positioning, secure assembly, and easy drive integration.

Material Composition
Our EVS DN125 PN16 wafer butterfly valve bodies are manufactured from high-grade EN AC-42100 aluminium alloy (AlSi7Mg0.3), equivalent to A356.2 / ZL101A / AC4C. The material delivers excellent castability, high strength-to-weight ratio, and natural oxide-layer corrosion resistance for water, air, and mild industrial media. T6 heat treatment is available to enhance mechanical performance for demanding PN16 applications.

Dimensional Specifications
Standard DN125 (PN16)​ dimensions compliant with ANSI, DIN, ISO, and EN flange / face-to-face standards. Fully customizable geometries, wall thicknesses, and flange drillings are supported against customer drawings or samples. Permanent casting marks (DN, PN, AC42100, heat/batch No.) provide clear on-site identification and full traceability.

Certifications And Approvals
Material Test Report (MTR / EN 10204 3.1) and chemical / mechanical test data are available on request. Each casting carries heat/batch number 2605​ for full traceability. Products are subject to dimensional inspection, pressure testing, and third-party verification to meet industrial valve quality requirements.

Design And Construction
Concentric wafer-type body with an integral top actuator mounting flange (4-bolt pattern) for secure valve-stem / drive connection. Precision-machined flow-way and sealing seats ensure stable centering, low-torque operation, and reliable bubble-tight shut-off. The compact sandwich design fits between standard pipeline flanges, reducing overall system weight and installation footprint.

Surface Finishing
CNC-machined and cleaned flow passages with a smooth, uniform surface to minimize flow resistance and media adhesion. Natural aluminium finish as standard; mirror-polish, passivation, or fine sandblasting are available upon request. Machined sealing faces hold tight tolerances for consistent gasket/disc mating and extended service life.

OEM and drawing-based customization welcomed. We can adjust alloy temper (incl. T6), wall thickness, top-flange drilling, lug/bolt-hole pattern, and surface treatment (anodizing, painting, sandblast, polish) to suit your application.
